MLM downline proprietary rights: How to buy a downline from a company going out of business?

Robert Nogueira

The secret of creating compelling moneymaking machine is to build a compelling presentation to prospects. How do you structure your downline so it will grow to deeper levels? One strategy is to expand your organization by buying downlines from a company that is likely to go out of business. This one is fast, creative, smart, and an excellent approach to expand your organization. This is an easier way to achieve your target sales volume and downline levels than doing personal face-to-face or cold calling exhibitions strategy to recruit members. This is how an MLM industry picks up its network marketing. The idea gives a significant point of difference from simple face-to-face direct selling.

Downline proprietary rights

Your downlines are your private property! Downlines are private property of the person who organized and built the structure. The Federal Trade Commission vs. Holiday Magic and Koscot International could give a clearer view of the rule. You can sell your downline.

Acquisition through merger

MLM owners tired of maintaining MLM companies would want to sell in a secret discreet manner so that the independent distributors do not get worried. This is the shortcut to obtaining multi-level marketing success. One big deal through merger and you can enjoy the top level of the network.

Buying downlines from another MLM organization

If you know of someone who is tired of being an owner of an MLM company and finds more fun and value becoming a distributor again, then you can buy the downlines of that organization. This is safe, legal, and a fast way of expanding your organization as well as your sales volume.

Federal Trade Commission vs. Holiday Magic and Koscot International

The Koscot network marketing program involved continuous recruitment of additional participants while potential investors remained constant in a given geographical area. Koscot established and operated similar companies, which provided more flexibility and opportunity for distributors to participate and continue recruiting members. This implies their intention to operate endless recruitment network plan. The programs design was maximization of recruitment income by recruiting more members, which provided bigger immediate cash rewards. This facilitates the time that it takes to build and develop an organization for sales and retail.

Important factors to consider

Buying downline is not easy because it works like acquisition of a company through merger. Find out the industrys standard, marketing policies and programs, and the fair cost of the downline for a profitable exchange. Make sure that all documents involved in the sale are complete and verified, if possible, by the courts. Make sure that the middleman you use is trustworthy. The use of a middleman would be great and convenient for the task.

Buy paying members for your downline. A little examination of your potential downlines history wont hurt. There is a great possibility that a member may quit at any point in time. Genealogy leads are downline reports composed of a list of people who made an investment for tools or training to build an organization called distributor marketing network or MLM. The downline reports demonstrates the interest of each person in the list to invest more, spend money, and sell or recruit to succeed. You need to read the downline reports to estimate downline selling and earning potentials.

Executives from the three companies – General Motors, Ford, and Chrysler – have pleaded before two Congressional committees, asking for $34 billion in order to stop collapse.

The Archbishop of York, Dr John Sentamu, said that Zimbabwe’s president Robert Mugabe must be forced out of office and face trial for his crimes against humanity.

“The time has come for Robert Mugabe to answer for his crimes against humanity, against his countrymen and women and for justice to be done. The winds of change that once brought hope to Zimbabwe and its neighbours have become a hurricane of destruction, with the outbreak of cholera, destitution, starvation and systemic abuse of power by the state,” said Sentamu.

Sentamu that the power-sharing deal that was signed by Mugabe and the Zimbabwean opposition in September was “now dead”.

Influential rock drummer Ginger Baker dies at age 80

Monday, October 7, 2019

Yesterday morning, English drummer Ginger Baker died in a hospital at the age of 80. The news came from the Twitter account in his name and was independently confirmed by Associated Press with his daughter Nettie Baker. On September 25, it was reported Baker was hospitalized in critical condition. Baker was widely known as the drummer and co-founder of the rock band Cream, an early supergroup.

Baker, a life-long smoker and former heroin addict, suffered from health problems for years. The list of ailments included hearing loss, osteoarthritis, emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as well as heart problems for which he had surgery in 2016. Although known to have lived his latter years in South Africa, his daughter said he died in Britain without elaborating.

Ginger Baker was born Peter Edward Baker in Lewisham, London, in 1939. His father was killed in combat in 1943 during World War II. Baker — who was reportedly nicknamed Ginger due to his red hair — began playing drums in his teens. In a story he sometimes told, he had a habit of tapping on school desks. When an opportunity arose at a party, his classmates encouraged him to sit down at a drum set. “I’d never sat behind a kit before, but I sat down — and I could play! One of the musicians turned round and said, ‘Bloody hell, we’ve got a drummer’, and I thought, ‘Bloody hell, I’m a drummer’?”, he recalled in a 2009 retelling of the story to the The Independent.

Baker began his career as a drummer in jazz bands. He played with Acker Bilk and Terry Lightfoot. In 1962, when fellow drummer Charlie Watts was leaving Blues Incorporated for The Rolling Stones, Watts recommended Baker to be his replacement. Later, Baker found early success with rhythm and blues band The Graham Bond Organisation where he met bassist Jack Bruce.

In 1966, Baker, Bruce and singer/guitarist Eric Clapton, who was known from The Yardbirds, formed Cream. The rock trio was a massive success, selling tens of millions of records, including the first ever platinum certified album Wheels of Fire. Cream recorded four albums, then in 1968 disbanded with Baker and Bruce having developed a volatile relationship. Clapton and Baker were subsequently in another supergroup Blind Faith with Steve Winwood and Ric Grech. Blind Faith recorded only one studio album but notably played before a crowd of a hundred thousand at a free concert in London’s Hyde Park.

In the 1970s, Baker moved to Nigeria where he established a studio and began playing polo. Here he collaborated with Fela Kuti and worked on Wings’s album Band on the Run with Paul McCartney of The Beatles fame. Later, he recorded with John Lydon’s Public Image Ltd.

Cream was inducted in 1993 into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band reunited in 2005 for several London and New York concerts. Afterwards he moved to South Africa, and still lived there when the 2012 documentary Beware of Mr. Baker was filmed. Baker’s last recording was 2014’s Why? solo album. Baker retired from live performances in 2016 due to his ill health.

Paul McCartney wrote on Twitter, “Ginger Baker, great drummer, wild and lovely guy. We worked together on the ‘Band on the Run’ album in his ARC Studio, Lagos, Nigeria. Sad to hear that he died but the memories never will.”

“A very sad loss, and my condolences to his family and friends. A loss also for his contribution to music. He was well-grounded in jazz from very early on,” wrote Steve Winwood in a statement. “Beneath his somewhat abrasive exterior, there was a very sensitive human being with a heart of gold. He’ll be missed.”

Mick Jagger of The Rolling Stones also reacted on Twitter, “Sad news hearing that Ginger Baker has died, I remember playing with him very early on in Alexis Korner’s Blues Incorporated. He was a fiery but extremely talented and innovative drummer.”

American Samoa received eight minutes warning before 2009 tsunami

Friday, September 24, 2010

People in American Samoa were given only eight minutes warning that a tsunami, which killed 32 people in the unincorporated territory, resulting from the 2009 Samoa earthquake, was approaching. A report published by the United States Congress admits that the warning was issued sixteen minutes after the 8.0 magnitude earthquake struck Samoa. The tsunami killed nearly 200 people in American Samoa, Samoa and Tonga.

The report, written by the National Research Council, describes the length of time between the earthquake and the initial tsunami warning being issued as “relatively long”, and states that the standard time for such a warning to be issued to be around two minutes. The study also revealed that one third of tsunami sensors are not working at any given time.

John Orcutt, a [seismologist and head of the committee that wrote the report, described the delay as a “major concern”, but he also said that “a large number of people” in American Samoa “didn’t understand and there were lives that were lost because people simply didn’t take the action to get away from the shore when they felt this huge earthquake. People have to understand the signs of a tsunami and head to higher ground.”

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, whose purpose is to coordinate the response to a disaster that has occurred in the United States and that overwhelms the resources of local and state authorities, and the Government of American Samoa did not respond to e-mails regarding the news.

The study also notes that people living in other coastal cities around the world are at risk of being unprepared for tsunamis that arrive soon after the earthquake occurs, stating that in many places, warnings might not be issued in time. “If the source were so close to shore that only minutes were available before the tsunami reached the coast, the public would need to recognize natural [signs of a tsunami approaching].” The report states that when they fear a tsunami is imminent, people should know to evacuate even “without official warnings.”

The report warns that because tsunamis are so rare, people living near the coast do not know what to do, but it also criticises authorities for not informing citizens of how to react when a tsunami is approaching. “Everybody thought that the tsunami was a single wave, and once the expected landfall time came and left, they thought it was over,” said Costas Synolakis, who is director of the Tsunami Research Center at the University of Southern California, and one of the report’s authors. He continued, “In fact, tsunamis are a series of waves that can last for three to four hours.”

He said that the United States must take action, training first responders in low-lying coastal areas, and adding more tsunami sensors to give advance warning of approaching waves. Synolakis added that, after receiving warning that there may have been a tsunami on the way after the Chile earthquake earlier this year, the response of firefighters at the Port of Los Angeles was poor because they were unfamiliar with how to deal with such a threat.

In the capital of American Samoa, Pago Pago, the tsunami measured 1.57 meters in height. The superintendent of the National Park of American Samoa Mike Reynolds reported four waves as high as six meters. People who experienced the quake said it was long, lasting from 90 seconds to three minutes. “Pago Pago city streets were strewn with overturned vehicles, cars, and debris. Some buildings located only slightly above sea level were completely destroyed by the waves, and power in some locations is not expected to be restored for up to a month,” Wikinews reported at the time.

Didi Afuafi, 28, who was riding on a bus in American Samoa when the tsunami struck, described her experiences. “I was scared. I was shocked. All the people on the bus were screaming, crying and trying to call their homes. We couldn’t get on cell phones. The phones just died on us. It was just crazy,” she said. “This is going to be talked about for generations.” U.S. President Barack Obama said of the disaster: “My deepest sympathies are with the families who lost loved ones and many people who have been affected by the earthquake and the tsunami.”

The people of American Samoa will, next Wednesday, according to a press release by the government, “hold island-wide services to honor the memories of the 34 loved ones who lost their lives” during the tsunami. Church services will be held at 6:00 a.m., followed at 6:48 a.m.—the time when the earthquake occured—thirty-two bells will be rung in memory of those who perished.

Advantages Of A Cookie Dough Fundraising Program

Submitted by: Jessi McCafferty

Everyone loves cookies, right? By doing a cookie dough fundraiser, you can create a fun and tasty way for people to participate in supporting your organization. Just hand them an order form or brochure with pictures of yummy, fresh-baked cookies, and you are bound to have a successful fundraiser.

What you need for such a fundraising program is a three-pound tub of cookie dough that you can buy for $10. These are ready to bake and come in a wide range of flavors. The diabetic need not keep back from your fundraising event, for you can even serve them sugar-free cookies.

Delicious Varieties Of Cookie Dough

These days you get many convenient options of cookie dough. If you want to restrict your fundraising activity to baking only, go for the pre-sliced packages. Alternately, you may also use cookie dough sold as dry mix that is ready to use, without prior refrigeration. Some of the cookie dough packs even come along with user-friendly kits and free samples to give you an idea of what you want to make.

Holding a cookie dough fundraiser is one of the most profitable fundraising programs, because you can reap the benefit from the various plans offered by the cookie dough suppliers. With many three-pound cookie dough tubs, you get a 40% – 50% discount. With some other brands, you are likely to get a greater discount if you buy a bigger tub.

How To Go About It

If you buy a dry mix variety of cookie dough, you simply need to add water to it, mix it, and bake it. However, the general rule of cookie dough preparation is to refrigerate it. Hence, you should pay attention to the time factor and ensure that you do not have a rushed schedule. Place your orders with the suppliers early enough to receive the delivery on time. You can employ children for this enjoyable fundraising event. Set a target for each to sell ten units of cookies that will bring back a substantial profit.

Factors To Consider For Cookie Dough Fundraisers

If you feel tempted by the high profit range you can reach through cookie dough fundraising, you must consider the expenses as well. Take note of the freight charges, brochure quality, discounts on quantity, refrigeration costs and the number of cookies you can make out of a standard three-pound tub. The other thing is to know who will be the buyers of your cookies. Generally, such fundraising programs are popular in elementary schools and high schools.

Making A Nice Fundraiser Sales Script

The secret of a proper sale script is the warmth and friendliness implied in it. At the same time, you must be clear while delivering the message. Greet the prospective buyer with a smile and state the cause for your fundraisers. Be sure to mention the name of your school or organization. Then hand over the order form along with the brochure and volunteer with suggestions of a favorite cookie size. This is an optional step and you may simply wait for the buyer’s response.

Bring joy to your community or participants with tasty, fresh-baked cookies and have fun raising funds for your school or organization yourself.

Two dead in Michigan college shooting

Friday, April 10, 2009

Two people are dead at a Michigan, United States community college in what police are calling a murder-suicide on Friday, the Detroit Free Press reports.

The victims, a 28-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, were found in the Fine Arts Building of Henry Ford Community College in Dearborn, Michigan.

The Free Press reports that the suspected gunman entered classroom F-111 with a shotgun, killed the female and then shot himself. The two were in the same theater class, but police have yet to determine if there was a further relationship between the two.

“The original call was some kind of assault … shots in the building,” Police Deputy Chief Gregg Brighton told the Free Press.

“Officers responded to the scene, were able to get a perimeter on the building,” Brighton said. “An entry team entered the south hallway … as they entered they heard another gunshot. Officers were able to enter one of the rooms, and discovered two deceased parties. We cleared the building.”

Dearborn police and campus police secured the crime scene after evacuating some students from the building. The Free Press also reports that four Michigan State Police detectives are assisting local authorities in the investigation.

The school was locked down for several hours shortly after a 911 call was received. The lockdown has now been lifted.

The school will be closed for the rest of the day and the school will be offering counseling services.

Liposuction Surgery: How To Stay Thin Afterward

Submitted by: Abigail Aaronson

Liposuction surgery is not a replacement for diet and exercise, though it can provide a complement to those healthy choices. The procedure is to take care of those difficult to get rid of pockets of fat accumulation, which even those who have reached their target weight often find remain. Though this fat is generally of the subcutaneous variety and not harmful to the individual s health, it can be unsightly and it can discourage the individual from continuing in their quest for overall fitness and a great physique. What happens after the procedure, though? How can you manage to keep the weight off and make sure that you never encounter that problem again? Here are some great tips to help you stay thin afterward.

Directly following your liposuction surgery, you ll need to follow the diet recommended by your doctor. In many cases, this will mean a high protein diet. Protein is a macronutrient responsible for building up the muscle and aiding in the repair of the body. After your procedure, this is exactly the kind of thing you ll want to focus your efforts on. It may be impossible to exercise for several weeks, meaning you need to get everything you can from your diet. Lean cuts of beef, eggs, chicken, fish, and protein shakes are all excellent sources of protein. Egg whites can be substituted for whole eggs and you will still retain much of the protein, while eliminating much of the cholesterol and fat content.

After a full recovery, your main goal will be to maintain your weight and not slip into the poor eating habits that made you fat to begin with. This does not mean going on any crash diets or cutting entire food groups out of your life. These are the kinds of choices that lead to ruination and the return of weight gain. They say variety is the spice of life, and nowhere is this more true than in the diet. Moderation is key, though there are some foods that are inherently better than others. These are the foods that should make up the bulk of your diet. Fruits and vegetables the darker the better are the best foods you can put in your mouth and can mostly be eaten freely. Healthy carbohydrates like whole grain bread, oatmeal, brown rice, and sweet potatoes are a great source of energy. The good sources of protein have been covered. Every diet needs a little fat content as well. Try to get it from good sources such as nuts and olive oil and avoid trans fats as found in many prepackaged cookies and chips. These are not only bad for the waistline, they are bad for the heart.

Retaining your form after liposuction surgery doesn t have to be a war. It just means making some good choices and eating liberally from natural foods like fruits and vegetables. Return to an exercise program as soon as possible, and make sure to mix it up with both some strength training and some cardio. Stick to this type of lifestyle, and you ll never have to worry about the bulge again.

United States: Two killed, more than a hundred injured in Amtrak train collision in South Carolina

Wednesday, February 7, 2018

Early on Sunday morning, Amtrak’s passenger train number 91, the Silver Star, bound for Miami from New York, slammed into a stationary CSX freight train in Cayce, about ten miles (16 km) south of Columbia, capital of the US state of South Carolina. Two Amtrak employees were killed and at least 116 were injured, some seriously.

The two killed were 54-year-old engineer Michael Kempf of Savannah, Georgia, and 36-year-old conductor Michael Cella of Orange Park, Florida. Robert Sumwalt, chairman of the National Transportation Safety Board, told a press conference the passenger train had been diverted into a siding by a switch left “literally locked, with a padlock” in that position.

The collision happened at about 2:35 am local time (0735 UTC) at a switching yard in the small city of Cayce. The Amtrak train, with reportedly 139 passengers and eight employees aboard, collided head on with the freight train, which was parked with no one on board. The Amtrak locomotive and the leading locomotive on the freight train were destroyed; the Amtrak locomotive and some of its passenger cars derailed, and one of those cars was folded in half. Several freight cars were crumpled, Reuters reported. In a press conference, the state governor, Henry McMaster, said the Amtrak locomotive was “barely recognizable” and described it as “a horrible thing to see, to understand the force involved”.

Harrison Cahill, a spokesman for Lexington County, gave a count of 116 injured, up from an initial report of 70; according to Derrec Becker, public information officer for the South Carolina Emergency Management Division, injuries ranged “from cuts and bruises to severe broken bones”. On Monday a Palmetto Health spokesperson said two patients were in serious and two in critical condition at their facilities. A spill of approximately 5,000 gallons of fuel from the freight train posed no safety hazard, according to officials.

Passenger Derek Pettaway told the CNN network that like most others, he had been sleeping when the collision happened. He said Amtrak staff cleared the passengers from the train rapidly, and there was no panic; “I think people were more in shock than anything else”, he said.

“Key to this investigation is learning why the switch was lined that way”, Sumwalt said. Amtrak’s CEO, Richard Anderson, speaking to reporters on Sunday, held CSX responsible; he stated the track in that area is operated by CSX and the signals, which CSX operates, were not working at the time of the collision and a CSX dispatcher was therefore directing the Amtrak train’s movements. Sumwalt noted an automatic monitoring and braking system called positive train control, which was not in use on the stretch of line, could have forestalled the collision.

Several fatal incidents involving Amtrak trains have occurred in the past three months. On December 18, the inaugural train on a new route in Washington state derailed at high speed while crossing above a highway, killing three; on January 31, the driver of a garbage truck was killed in Virginia when he collided with an Amtrak train chartered to take Republican lawmakers to a retreat.
