A 21-year-old New Zealander, who has not been named, was sexually assaulted by another man early yesterday morning (NZDT) in Wellington, New Zealand. The New Zealand police have described the sexual attack as “prolonged and terrifying”.
The man was first threatened with a weapon at a shopping center located in Riddiford Street, Newtown, Wellington and was then forced into a dark and isolated carpark where the sexual attack occurred.
Detective Sergeant Zane Smith, said that they have been given a very good description of the attacker and with that description have released an identikit picture. The attacker is a male M?ori aged between mid-20s and early 30s, measures around 1.8 metres and has a solid build. The most identifiable feature is a M?ori tattoo located on his chin. The attacker was also wearing a ‘50 Cent‘ green hooded top, faded black baggy jeans and was wearing sneakers coloured red and white.
The attacker has still not been found and police are asking for anyone who may have been in the Riddiford Street shopping centre between 2:00 a.m. and 3:30 a.m.
CCTV (closed-circuit television) cameras are being examined.

As a society I think we are always concerned about the security surrounding our loved ones. How does your home space protect the family you love and care about? One way that is becoming ever more popular in landscaping design as well as a security feature is fencing that has access control system capabilities. This feature allows the homeowner to regulate who is allowed to enter and exit the property using an access control system, such as a keypad or remote control.
This system of accessing space is not new. It has been used in apartments, hospitals, office building and many more public spaces for a long time. Just recently the expense of the technology involved has made it a more affordable option in home security as well. This option is more feasible now for the average homeowner. The first thing that needs to be in place is a fence around the perimeter of the yard.
Access control system fencing has changes a lot from the days of chain link. Now days homeowners can erect fences in a variety of styles and designs to blend in with their homes naturally aesthetic landscape. Homeowners can choose between fencing that offers complete privacy so no one can view the property. The only issue this causes is that the homeowner also cannot see out. A way around this is by using mirrors strategically placed that allow the property outside of the gate to be viewed. Another option in fencing that offers height is palisade fence which also offers spaces to see through.
On top of the fencing that supports security around the perimeter of the property homeowners need to decide on a gate option. Gate style options vary greatly as well as how they function. Homeowners can choose between a swing gate and a sliding gate. Both options have pros and cons. Design wise they both are incredibly attractive options. Sliding gates require less space to enter and exit and they do not swing out into the space that will be driven through. This is a better option for driveways where space is minimal.
How homeowners choose to gain access through the gate in many different ways. Some like the options of a key pad entry. The down fall of this method is that each time you enter the space you need to roll down the window and push in the code. The upside is that visitors to your home can gain access without having to gain your attention to buzz them in. Each visitor can be set up with an individualized code so that the homeowner can monitor who has had access into their space. The most preferable method is remote control. This allows access with the touch of a button from inside a car or inside the home.
An option to add to the access controlled fence and gate system is security cameras. This is often a strategy utilized by people with small children who play in the yard or for homeowners who travel a lot and are in need of visual piece of mind. Security cameras can be set up to be viewed via the internet. Technology is ever changing and is helping to ease the minds of homeowners that are interested in different types of security options available.

After a breakup, if you are still in love with your man, you will try everything you hear of to get him back. But nothing seems to work and you get more and more desperate. Reverse psychology is not anything mysterious, your parents probably used it on you when you were growing up. It is saying or doing things the opposite of what you want. But although he may be acting like a child, your ex boyfriend might not be taken in as easily as a child can be manipulated.
The idea of using reverse psychology to get your ex boyfriend back, is to do or say things to make him think you know longer want him. You hope that by taking yourself out of his life, he will see he misses you and want you back. But will it work? While a child might have to rely on their parents, your ex boyfriend is free to do what he wishes.
But, if you have tried everything else why not give reverse psychology a try. Right? The answer is – it might blow up on you. Your ex boyfriend knows you are still in love with him and if you start acting as if you don’t want him anymore, he is going to become suspicious. He might decide to find out if you are serious and start moving on and if he finds someone else, he might never come back.
So what can you do to get your ex back? You can back off for a while and do nothing. When the breakup occurred, you were probably desperate to get your guy back and went into a panic, calling and emailing him several times a day. You have never allowed things to settle down. After any breakup, there needs to be a cooling off period to put things in proper perspective.
You have to give your ex time to see what he lost by breaking up with you and that is where male psychology can help. But you need to be subtle and make him fall in love with you again. Once he has the time to feel the desire for you, it will be easy to use male psychology to make him want you more than ever.
Getting inside a man’s head and using psychology can get very stunning results. Look at how terrorists use psychology to get a person to become a suicide bomber. If it can be that strong, don’t you think using male psychology can make your ex boyfriend see the breakup was a mistake?

A Proton rocket which was intended to launch the JCSAT-11 satellite into a geostationary transfer orbit lifted off and successfully completed its first stage burn, but the second stage failed leading to loss of the rocket and satellite.
The launch vehicle was a Proton M booster with a Breeze M upper stage. More than 300 Proton rockets have been launched, all from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Following the launch failure, Kazakhstan suspended the launch of Proton rockets from Baikonur, Interfax news agency reported.
JSAT Corporation immediately placed an order with Lockheed Martin, the satellite manufacturer, for an identical replacement satellite based on the A2100AX design.

A woman, who was taking the road test to become a licensed school bus driver, crashed a bus into a utility pole in White Plains, New York, today. The wreck occurred on South Kensico Road between the intersections with Minevera Place and Oakley Avenue.
The Journal News reported that the accident occurred at 11:30 a.m. EDT (UTC-4) and that neither the student driver nor the examiner from the New York Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) was injured.
According to The Journal News the road was closed in both directions. Police and workers from the utility company, Con Edison, were on the scene inspecting the damage. The utility pole had snapped at the bottom and it was leaning on the bus.
Wikinews went to the crash site and found that Con Edison crews were still working to replace the pole. Nearly five hours after the crash, a new pole had been installed and the old one was being held parallel up against it. Workers were transferring the wires onto the new pole.
Kensico Road had been reopened, but only in one lane. Workers let traffic pass alternating between one direction and then the other. Ironically, the green sign that is affixed to the pole reads “DMV test site starts here.”

The Financial Conduct Authority, one of Britain’s banking sector regulators, indicated it has decided to drop an inquiry into banking culture, including practices and payment of banking staff. The inquiry was intended to review “whether culture change programmes in retail and wholesale banks are driving the right behaviour, in particular focusing on remuneration, appraisal and promotion decisions of middle management, as well as how concerns are reported and acted on”.
A spokesman for the Financial Conduct Authority stated: “A focus on the culture in financial services firms remains a priority for the FCA[…] There is currently extensive ongoing work in this area within firms and externally. We have decided that the best way to support these efforts is to engage individually with firms to encourage their delivery of cultural change as well as supporting the other initiatives outside the FCA.”
The Shadow Chancellor, Labour’s John McDonnell, said shutting down the inquiry would be a “dangerous and costly mistake” and said: “This will be a huge blow to customers and taxpayers who are all still paying the price for the failed culture in the banking sector that’s been widely attributed to be among the main causes of the crash and the scandals over Libor and price-fixing”.
Members of the Treasury Select Committee have also been critical of the cancellation of the review. On Twitter, Labour MP John Mann stated the “FCA surrender to big banks today is entirely from pressure from Treasury and Osborne”. Conservative MP Mark Garnier, told the BBC: “There has always been this great argument that perhaps the Treasury is having more influence over the regulator than perhaps it ought to and certainly, if I was looking for a Machiavellian plot behind what’s happened here and the tone of the regulator, then I suppose I would start looking at the Treasury.”
Richard Lloyd from the consumer group Which? expressed disappointment at the cancellation of the report: “It’s disappointing that the regulator has decided against publishing this report on the culture of banking. Cultural change doesn’t happen overnight, so despite signs of improvement, the FCA must not take their eye off the ball and should continue to clean up the industry”
The FCA has had no leader since Martin Wheatley resigned in July following an expression of no confidence by George Osborne, the Chancellor of the Exchequer.
